Presenter: Susan St. George & Jim Pratcshler, Canada Revenue Agency

The seminar will provide an overview of the Canada Revenue Agency’s Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) Program. The SR&ED Program is a federal tax incentive program that is designed to encourage Canadian businesses of all sizes and in all sectors to conduct research and development. 

Attendees will learn the following:

  1. The basic requirements of the program and what it can offer
    2. The type of work that can be eligible under the program
    3. The types of expenditures you can claim for eligible work

Susan St. George is a Research and Technology Advisor and Outreach Coordinator with the SR&ED Program. Jim Pratcshler is a Financial Reviewer with the SR&ED Program. Both Susan and Jim work at the Canada Revenue Agency’s Winnipeg Tax Services Office.
